DESCRIPTION:1996 DODGE VIPER RT/10, A One-of-a-Kind,
Customized Viper pampered since the day of its delivery. Asking price $39,500
A BRAND NEW FACTORY ENGINE & TRANSMISSION WERE INSTALLED IN 2001/2002
by factory Team Viper mechanics & Dealership Viper mechanics. There is less than
22,000 miles on the current engine and transmission. CAR PERFORMS, HANDLES & SHOWS TO
PERFECTION. Customization of this Viper was done by Dinan Engineering, Autobahn Body &
Paint, and Precision Car Stereo; all award-winning Northern California automotive firms.
It comes with a removable hardtop, a convertible soft top (new canvas was put on the soft
top 2 years ago), black leather tonneau cover, & a breathable Viper car cover with a
carrying case. Autobahn Body & Paint painted the entire exterior (including alloy
wheels & removable hard top) with a very unique & expensive paint & base
designed specially for this car. This unique color is best described as a dark gray
influenced black with very subtle undertones of light grey and purple. This exterior has
won the best customization award at State Viper Club meetings in 2 states. Aubobahn alone
have maintained the exterior of this car since the day of its delivery. Dinan Engineering
installed a High Performance heavy duty break system and improved the road control with by
toughening the suspension system with a performance spring set. Precision Car Stereo
designed the exceptional interior electronics package: a high-end mid-range speaker &
separate tweeter in each door, powered by two 200 watt amps; between the 2 seats are 2
subwoofers separately powered by a 200 watt amp and a cross-over; system is driven by a
high-end Eclipse deck with a trunk-mounted 10 disc cartridge, shock-absorbing CD player.
The Navigation System is a Rockwell/Magellan audio/visual system, the
drive unit of which is mounted in the trunk & controls on the central console forward
of the shift lever. The screen is mounted on a electrically activated servor in the glove
compartment that both opens the compartment & delivers the screen to an angled
position easily viewed by the driver. Mounted into the lower dash above the drivers left
knee is a high-end programable scanner. A K40 all-band radar detector is built into the
frame of the car & a separate radar defeater is mounted on the frame. Controls for the
radar detector are mounted inside the ash tray on the center console. I am the 1st &
only owner of this car. Other than parking lot & driveway minor scrapes &
crunches, all of which were immediately repaired by Autobahn, this car has never been in
any collision of any kind. This car has always been kept in a garage & usually
covered.
